Description and Rules of the Games

Welcome to the Games Page! Here, all games are designed based on national standards, with modifications to enhance local play. Any disputes during the games will be handled by our on-site games manager. Explore the list of games below to find the ones that interest you and remember, it's all about having fun! The games will take place from March 14 to April 4, 2025, with registration closing on February 1, 2025. You will receive an email with details about the time and place of your game. Stay tuned for an updated schedule and results tab as the event approaches!

 Community Points --You’ll get community points just for playing. 

Sign up for any game = 100 community points.     

 First Place = an additional 100 community points.

Second Place = an additional 50 community points.

Food, gifts and or prizes will be given out at each game.

Opening Ceremony/Kick-Off Party & Water Balloon Toss

Cost is $10 to include a drink, appetizers and water balloon toss.

QUICK VIEW: Water Balloon Toss - Friday, March 14, 2025

Location: Sun Lakes Country Club, 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd. 

Water Balloon Toss takes place during the opening ceremonies. 

DETAILS: This is a two-person team event.

Water Balloon Toss players will gently toss a water balloon back and forth while standing apart. The goal is to catch the balloon without dropping or popping it. If the balloon breaks, the team is eliminated. After each successful round, the remaining teams take three steps backward. The last pair with an intact balloon win.

Note - Players will most likely get wet, so dress appropriately.

  • ​​RULES:
    • A team consists of two Players: M/M, M/F, or F/F.

    • Players will start by standing five feet apart and face each other.

    • Gently toss the water balloon to your partner.

    • Tossing: Players should toss the balloon underhand.

    • The opposite player must catch the balloon without dropping it or popping it.

    • Catching: Players should try to catch the balloon without it breaking.

    • After a catch: If a player successfully catches the balloon without breaking it, the team will be instructed to increase the distance by taking three steps backwards and then toss again. This continues until the balloon is dropped or popped.

    • Elimination: If a balloon breaks when catching it, the team is eliminated.

    • Winning: The last team with an intact balloon wins.

    • Tie = The last two or more teams are all eliminated at the same time.

    • Tie Breaker = The last two (or more) teams continue to play until only one team remains.

    • Cause for Elimination: No one is to throw a water balloon forcefully or maliciously at another person.

    • No throwing water balloons at any windows, cars or other inanimate objects that may break or cause harm or destruction. No one is to throw a water balloon at anyone’s face.
